The Conflict Management Center is a student-led, educational project of the Program on the Analysis and Resolution of Conflict. We are students with an interest in developing awareness of and the skills in conflict transformation theory and practice necessary to transform conflict into opportunity.
We work with faculty and staff at Syracuse University to develop training curriculum and skill building initiatives in a unique collaborative effort. Students and community associates can build their knowledge base in conflict resolution through an array of professionalized training and utilize this knowledge by serving as a trainer, teacher or facilitator of these skills, while introducing these practices to the wider community. The Center is jointly sponsored by and receives support from a wide range of campus programs, offices and organizations.
