  • My peers will ridicule me, and I might even be cut loose from the herd.

  • When I am at a Yankees game and the public announcer says a car with the license plate "Do Good" has its lights on, the 55,000 people at the stadium would have heard the words "do good."

  • If the announcement gets on national TV, we are talking millions.

  • More importantly, I will realize that it is my car because I can easily remember my license plate.

  • The same goes for remembering my license plate "number" when completing a motel registration.

  • I will form an instant bond with everyone throughout America who has a similar plate (let's hope none of them are con-artists).

  • Maybe I can make new friends and ultimately go to a convention of  Genuine Do-Gooders. I will do my part to start a transformation of the American culture so that the question "what's in it for us?" becomes as equally as important as "what's in it for me?"
