Simulation

You will simulate the planning and partial implementation of an evaluation of either the United Nations-sponsored and managed Internet Governance Forum (Monday and Tuesday sections) or the United Nations climate change mitigation and adaptation institutions (the Global Environment Facility, the Clean Development Mechanism, the United Nations Environment Programme and the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification). You will be working for the Assistant Secretary-General (ASG) for Monitoring and Evaluation in the Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) who will be coming to Syracuse to attend meetings with you. (Because of the renovation of the United Nations Headquarters Building, some of the UN's offices have been moved to outside locations, including Syracuse.)

Monday and Tuesday sections, see the Under-Secretary-General's memorandum of 12 January 2009.

Wednesday section, see the Under-Secretary-General's memorandum of 14 January 2009.
